The word on the streets is defrauded GemCoin investors will be in attendance at the Arcadia City Council meeting Tuesday evening. As the following Fox 11 News story relates, 10s of thousands of GemCoin investors were collectively bilked out of $160,000,000 worldwide, a massive sum of money by anyone's account. All done by an international Ponzi operation that was both run out of Arcadia and legitimized by the reassuring presence of one of its senior elected officials, Councilmember John "GemCoins" Wuo.
All done while the City of Arcadia did nothing.
These defrauded people want to let the City of Arcadia know how they were misled and cheated by one of its most senior leaders. The question many of them feel has to be asked: "Is the continued silence at Arcadia City Hall complicity?"
