Like they're married to each other. ‘Underwear Massage’ Guy Alan Dershowitz Lobbied Trump to Pardon Ghislaine Maxwell (Political Flarelink): When your best defense as a sixty-plus-year-old man who has been accused of involvement with a teenage girl, is that your underwear was on for a massage, you are not only in real trouble (because why go to all that effort to just…) but you’re a criminal ass anyway, charged or not.
As we have said before, most of us men have managed to go our entire lives, easily and much more comfortably, not having any kind of massage from a teen girl if we were over 21-22 years old. Indeed, many of us, once we obtained the maturity of someone who was about 30 or so, would not even speak to a teenager/under 20, without one of her parents present because anything one would legitimately have to talk about would be perfectly fine with a parent present.
Alan Dershowitz has spent a lifetime teaching criminal law and knows precisely how to be in a horrific situation and yet not be charged with anything illegal. It sure sounds to us like his public pronouncements were made in an attempt to get ahead of possible revelations by admitting to something just terrible but not technically criminal.
And yet it sounds like
Dershowitz was worried enough, technically or not, to get
Trump to do the unthinkable, pardon someone with no justification for a pardon for one of the worst crimes in existence, trafficking children to be used and tossed, damaged. It took the foreign press to dig out the facts, provided it is rock solid. It likely is entirely reliable, it doesn’t come from a cheap rag.

Jeffrey Epstein’s former lawyer lobbied Donald Trump to pre-emptively pardon Ghislaine Maxwell during the final days of his presidency after talks with her family.
Alan Dershowitz, 83, a former Harvard Law School professor, represented Epstein during the noughties and Trump during his first impeachment trial. He has since been accused of abuse by one of Epstein’s under-age victims, which he denies. Towards the end of Trump’s time in office the lawyer used his close ties to the president to secure pardons for paying clients.
