This Could Be Why Poor Needy Donald Trump Will Not Be Invited To The Royal Wedding In May

Not happy.
Mod: Besides remembering to use that new year number when doing things like writing checks, there are a lot of important issues that we will need to be concerned about in the upcoming year. And, of course, Donald Trump's now at risk invitation to the upcoming royal wedding this May numbers very high on that list. Along with nuclear war, impeachment, financial collapse and the sad fact that certain foreign dictators have far more access to the President of the United States than the American people do. Which is unfortunate but hey, Donald did the need the money a few years back, and where were you? Here is a portion of a recent CNN article that explains the royal wedding troubles. Apparently for the our painfully narcissistic President the thought that his predecessor might get to go to the big palace party while he gets left behind is now a world crisis of the first order. Oh, and Happy New Year. There certainly is that.

Prince Harry sidesteps Obama-Trump wedding guest list controversy (CNNlink): Britain's Prince Harry has avoided opening up a diplomatic rift between the British and US governments over the guest list for his wedding to Meghan Markle, saying plans had yet to be finalized. Asked on a BBC radio program whether he would invite former US President Barack ObamaHarry swerved the question, saying he didn't want to "ruin that surprise."

There has been speculation in the UK media that British officials fear the political consequences if the couple decide to invite Barack and Michelle Obama, with whom they are friends, but not President Donald Trump.

Markle, an American actor, has been critical of Trump in the past, and there is already widespread controversy in the UK over the prospect of an official visit by the President to the UK.

The wedding is not a full state occasion and the guest list is being drawn up by Buckingham Palace, with the British government in a consultative role. It is not clear whether Downing Street would insist on Trump or a representative being invited, or whether it could block an invitation being extended to the Obamas.

Pretty absurd, right? Why wouldn't a President of the United States get invited to a royal wedding? How did it all get to this unhappy a level? Well, like a vast majority of people in the world today, the royal family apparently hates Trump's guts. And there are some understandable reasons for their difficulties with him. Including the following.

Donald Trump Boasted He Could’ve Had Sex With Princess Diana Before She Died, ‘I Could’ve Nailed Her’ (US Monitor Newslink): Donald Trump is one of the most misogynistic people on the planet, but the comments he made about Princess Diana just months after she died are atrocious even for him.

In newly un-earthed Howard Stern interviews from 1997, Trump jokes about how he could have seduced the late princess, and how he would force her to have an HIV test. In another interview, he tells Stern that Diana was “crazy” but that it was a “minor detail.”

Stern asks Trump: “Why do people think it’s egotistical of you to say you could’ve gotten with Lady Di? You could’ve gotten her, right? You could’ve nailed her.”

Trump replies: “I think I could have.”

They then act out an imaginary scene where Trump asks Diana to get an HIV test. "Hey Lady Di, would you go to the doctor?” Stern jokes.

Trump jumps in and says, “Go back over to my Lexus, because I have a new doctor. We wanna give you a little check-up.”

Trump then talked about how the recently-diseased mother of two young boys looked: “she had times when she didn’t look great” but she was “supermodel beautiful” and “she had the height. She had magnificent skin”.

The audio was released on the Factbase website, according to the Washington Post.

Trump was a disgusting womanizer then, proved once again in the Access Hollywood tapes, and in countless other interviews throughout his career and to his presidency. Yet so many Conservatives think he is the Christian president who brought back "Merry Christmas.”

He’s the guy who said he could score with a dead princess—that’s all.

I was going to post a Factbase link to that Howard Stern audio, but unfortunately it has now been pulled. Here is how this is all looking today.

Obviously someone was not thrilled about such content being available to just anyone.
