Every once in a while something inadvertently revealing shows up in the Sierra Madre City Manager's Report (link). Or at least it appears to be. Now I don't have any crime statistics from when the LA County Sheriffs were patrolling these cold streets by night here, but whatever those numbers might be the following does not look especially good. This CMR item describes an urgent upcoming city meeting with the public on an apparent crime wave in Sierra Madre.
So how do you explain this surge in crime here in town? Why does the date of October 30th have such significance? The following November 3rd article from the Sierra Madre Weekly should help reveal all that you need to know (link).
That Sunday cited in the above Sierra Madre Weekly article was October 30th.
